Type: Gold necklace & earring set with tourmaline

Description: 14k yellow gold, hand fabricated pendant and clasp complimenting hand fabricated earrings. All units are articulated by use of jump rings and swivels. Gem stones are all "watermelon" tourmaline. Tourmaline in clasp of necklace is natural bi-color crystal, while pieces in earrings and pendant are cut and polished slabs from a larger bi-color crystal. "Watermelon" name comes from unique green and pink color combination exhibited in the slabs. Chain is prefabrabricated 14k yellow gold cable chain.

Method: All hand construction methods along with "granulation". Some granulation is free form suspension without background sheet giving this a "lacy" effect. "Watermelon" slabs of tourmaline in earrings and pendant are surrounded with a form-fit bezel stip however prongs have been soldered in place and used for setting front and back sides of slabs.

Dimensions: Pendant: approx. 38x24mm; earrings: approx. 32x16mm; clasp approx. 18mm long; necklace: approx. 22 inches in length.
