Type: Gold necklace with pearls and granulation Description: 14k yellow gold necklace with baroque and freshwater pearrls, with main freshwater pearl set with custom crafted granulation post and cap. Method: Granulation setting for pearl: hand constructed on hand carved replica of pearl shape in graphite with post which then is fitted to pearl and post extends into drilled hole at top of pearl. Bail is hand fabricated from 14k yellow gold sheet by using pitch block and dapping tools; jump rings soldered behind for chain to pass through. Necklace: hand made pearl posts linked within 14k yellow gold cable chain. Dimensions: Pendant: approx. 8mm by 20mm high; chain: approx. 16 inches long.
